The customer is a leading manufacturer of engineering, mining and construction productions. With an extensive business presence spread across 7 regions in North America, they had implemented Oracle Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) Cloud and JD Edwards Enterprise One solution.
The business was facing issues with the budgeting and planning functions. Previously, the functions were dependent on manual processing such as spreadsheets and outdated budgeting apps. This caused an unclear visibility of accounts leading to faulty decision making and numerous other inconsistencies. The business approached Apple Consulting Group (ACG) for a total revamp of their solution that could help them forecast more effectively.
